Prism adaptation therapy

Prism therapy is the therapeutic approach that combines the change-adaptation of visual perception with exercise.

By changing the perception of the patient’s field of vision (horizontally, diagonally or vertically), the perception of the center of gravity is differentiated. Through this change, the patient’s support base and model of motor action against gravity, are readjusted. Τhis way, the patient adapts to each new functional action with many and varied possibilities of adjustment in his posture and motor function.

By involving the differentiation of visual perception in motor behavior we can have a very direct impact on functional activity so that our purpose can be achieved quickly and effectively.
